Yeah. I mean for me I just take my chances on Geno. But from their perspective, if they really really don't like G. Smith, that's tough. You can go into the draft and hope you get a guy at 2.2 or maybe get stuck trading up. I don't hate Foles as much as some, so if I had to go outside I might try him. All depends on what the price is though. At least he hasn't reached his ceiling IMO. I am not saying it's going to be a high ceiling but if the other options are Alex Smith or Flynn I would go Foles. I mean Andy and our OC did work with him. I don't want to go down the Flynn path, and his contract is pretty big as well isn't it?
Under the premise that they aren't taking a guy at 1.1, it becomes a tough call. Like I said I would try to get a guy with the second pick or move up. Problem is if you are going with that strategy you are taking a risk because you enter the draft without a QB. Because of that risk, I think if they do enter the draft without Foles or Alex Smith, I don't see how they don't take Geno. Or at least trade down and take a QB then. I just don't see them going into the draft without a QB and then passing on one in the first round. That's a pretty big gamble. If there is a run on QBs are stuck paying a price to jump up and grab one.
