Look, all this posturing about "Only first round QB's can win a Super Bowl" is just nonsense. Yet when Brees or Kaepernick or other 2nd round QB's are brought up,
that's different.
Again, it's clear that Reid and Dorsey aren't comfortable with this year's crop of QB's. It's been said over and over and over again that this is a weak class. There are faults with every QB. So for them to trade for Smith shouldn't be a surprise or a shock, nor should it indicate that they will NEVER draft a QB and develop him.
All it means that it won't likely happen in 2013. Big ****ing deal.
