He went to a horrible organization with literally no O-line or WRs ( outside Miller, the TE ), where some players seemed to hate him from day one for his contract alone. The coaches made it clear they didn't draft him, which sure as hell didn't help him get along with the team. And according to the story by
Sports Illustrated, he had 11 friends & family die during his stint in Oakland - 11.
I by no means would make the argument that he's an NFL QB, but I will say that any situation would have been better. 'Bust' is oft as much the responsibility of the team as the player.
