I'm pretty sure no one wanted Alex Smith. He was the last thing I wanted as a Chiefs fan.
It happened. I tend to give the benefit of the doubt to Reid in this case. EVERYONE SAYS GENO ISN'T A #1 PROSPECT. EVERYONE. Not one draft guy has said "yeah, Geno is an elite NFL prospect."
and then Reid/Dorsey trade for Alex Smith. These are the same guys who "reached" for McNabb and were booed out of this world for it...
yet the Geno fans (and I was RIGHT IN THE CENTER OF THAT BANDWAGON) are just plugging their ears and screaming 'lalalalalalalala' and won't face reality that Geno Smith just wasn't a top QB prospect this year
