Because they traded back into the first round for Baker, while giving up a bunch of second and fourth round picks.
The bottom line is that no one can say that Miami would have been better off with Matt Ryan over Jake Long in Miami. Atlanta has gone above and beyond to surround him with talent and they still haven't broken through.
