I'm not giving him a chance because thinking we will do shit with him at QB is ignorant of history. You win Super Bowls by drafting your own guy and developing him into a franchise QB that can win post season games for you with his arm. That's the only blue print for winning Super Bowls. For the last 30 years the Chiefs have refused to draft and develop their own QBs. All the Chiefs do is trade for QBs other teams are willing to give up, and no team is willing to give up a franchise QB. At best a QB like Alex Smith gets you to the playoffs, where he loses to a team with one of the few elite QBs in the NFL.
We're going no where until we start drafting our own QBs and making them our starters. We have to keep doing this until we find the next Aaron Rodgers or Tom Brady. Just keep doing it. It may take us a decade to find our guy, but when we do, we're set for a while. The longer we put it off, the farther away we are from winning another Super Bowl.
