Key word is most. Most fans don't have a clue about how today's NFL is and they'll accept whatever retread is brought in or whatever egotistical nutjob is running the show at HC or GM.

If the Chiefs Ditka'd themselves into acquiring a Manning or Brady and in exchange won a SB it'd be bittersweet. It would be orgasmically awesome because the one sports team I've invested much of my time in finally won a championship, but chances are they put themselves in cap or talent hell doing it for about a decade or so. So I guess it would be a marginal net positive.

But I would be so much more accepting if the Chiefs took a Geno Smith, or a Tyler Wilson, or Bray, or shit even Barkley, flamed out to Ryan Leaf levels as long as they team tried again with a top tier QB prospect as soon as they recognized the error made.
