ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Chiefs are in pursuit of free agent Sean Smith, and Kansas City is "clearly" a viable landing spot.Smith was expected to be perhaps the hottest free agent on the market when Tuesday's signing period opened, but that turned out not to be the case. Despite the signing of Dunta Robinson, the Chiefs have been lurking on Smith all along. The 49ers and Eagles are already believed to have dropped out of the running.
