Posturing aside, I can see this happening. If they don't get a good offer to trade down, why not take Geno? He will probably be as valuable on our QB depth chart as he is when he gets drafted in most cases. Hell...think of the stupidity of those that would trade a high draft pick for Mallet (or Alex Smith
). Who knows what we might get offered for Geno (or Chase or Alex) next year prior to the draft. I hope we collect QB's that other teams might want. It's the currency of the NFL. Andy Reid IS the guy that turned Kevin freakin' Kolb into a 2nd round pick (and DRC). So yeah...draft Geno if nobody gives us what we think the 1.1 pick is worth.
