It's a smart move by Albert, whose $9.8 million is now fully guaranteed for the 2013 season. Everything I've seen is that agreed to sign the tender, not that he has actually signed it. Maybe I've missed something today. Although the article also says "Albert has told the team he plans to sign the club’s one-year, $9.83 million contract offer as their franchise player."
