The point remains: when Teicher spoke to Reid, Reid could not have confirmed Albert as the starting LT because Albert hadn't yet signed with the team.
Not to mention that there's little to no value in committing to ANYTHING at this point. If he officially declared Albert to be our LT, it restricts options for the wheeling and dealing we could do with 1.1.
