Luke Hochevar is hot garbage, especially with men on base. He's not an option. Bruce Chen is not a strikeout guy and is not an option. JC Gutierrez has pitched in ONE game for KC in a low-leverage situation and isn't a major strikeout guy, either. Holland still was the best option at that point to get out of it with a win.

And claiming that the bullpen was mishandled is silly. 30/30 major league managers run that the exact same way yesterday.
A ball is a ball whether it just misses or hits the 'Bull Durham mascot'.

You allow the bases to be loaded strictly on walks with absolutely no outs with a 2 run lead on the road in the last inning. Unacceptable PERIOD. Nuff said.

Bullpen? What bullpen if you only have one option after 5 games ?
