It means we're losing because we're scoring around 3 runs per game. Royals are 1-5 when ace pitcher James Shields gives up 2 or fewer runs. Royals were supposed to be built on speed and defense. The Royals are third worst in the AL in errors. This team's lack of slugging is mind boggling. The only guys who seem capable of hitting a ball out of the yard is Gordon and Butler. Everybody else has been punchless. You can't have two homers from your catchers, one from your right fielder, one from your center fielder and one from your first baseman with one quarter of the season gone. That's just unacceptable.
