I play Sundays on a rec team. Play with my tournament team on Thursdays to get warmed up for Saturdays. Play at least 3 Saturdays a month but usually 4. I'll also fill in for friends who are short on Tuesdays and Wednesdays sometimes. I enjoy playing a lot. Gets me out of the house and I blow off steam. The wife likes me better when I'm out of the house taking out my frustrations on a little ball. Cheaper than golf and more exercise too. I essentially traded my expensive golf habit for softball. Used to golf 2-3x a week and now that's been reduced to 2-3x a year.
