It's not about whether he can learn more at the camp vs alone. It's about being the bigger man and building team chemistry.
not going sets up a public Sanchez vs Smith which he shouldn't do
not going means that he gets less time with team mates
not going makes him look petty and plays into the "attitude" rumors from college
only reason not to go is because he can't get over the butthurt of the draft and not being 'the' guy from the beginning.
He should go and do his best to be a professional and team player.
Hell ... if he throws and performs well at this camp it would spread positive rumors throughout the players before he takes a single snap at TC.
