I'm kind of wondering here - I am not wild about him as a player, but who should be quarterbacking the Chiefs this year if not Alex Smith?

What better options did we have for week 1, besides someone with (his stats the previous two seasons), and with two years left on his deal?

Other than having paid a premium price in draft picks for him, it seems low/no risk. What else were we going to do?
