Austin Collie was one of the best receivers in college football history. The guy was virtually uncoverable in the MWC. I really hoped that the Chiefs drafted him.
And yes, Manning makes receivers better. Brady as well. But you've got to have a little talent at the position to help the QB. There is no doubt that Bowe is the best receiver that Smith has worked with for his entire career. Hell, Bowe managed 1,000 yards nearly every single season with absolute garbage throwing to him. Smith will give him a much better ball to catch than he's ever had in his career. Should be a nice pairing based on both players strengths/skill sets.

If you feel this strongly about the team, perhaps it's time to pick a new club to cheer for.
Personally, I'm getting pretty stoked about what Reid, Dorsey and Smith bring to the team. I think we'll be pretty good this season and in the foreseeable future (4-5 years).
