So... I went on a few dates after my previous relationship ended. Some were good, some were ok, some were terrible. I'm continuing to date one of the girls. We haven't reached the point of exclusivity yet but we enjoy each other's company, have shared interests, etc.
Anyway.. after the 4th date she discovered (unknown to both of us) that I've known her brother for 10 years. I went to college with him, he's a friend, we share mutual friends. He and I have been to weddings, bachelor parties, football games, parties, etc. together over that time period. I knew he had a sister but had never met or even seen pictures of her. My parents also know his (and her) dad. Small world just got smaller.
