You talk like this is still 2007 and people are ****ing remotely worried about Philip Rivers. I'd take him over Smith too, but Rivers right now is a lot closer the bottom third of the league for QBs than you're likely willing to admit.
Oh, you left out if you can find a real running back, some healthy receivers, and a pass rush, and the foundation of youth for your TE.

- Mathews has been great in the preseason and Danny Woodhead is slated to finally replace Sproles.
- The Chargers are deepest at WR. Sure there's injury history there but the talent is great with guys like Floyd, Brown and Allen
- The TE crop is shaping out quite nicely with a healthy Gates, John Phillips and Ladarius Green (100+ yds and 2 TDs in 2 preseason games).
That's just the Offense. The Defensive starters have looked great so far.
