1)
Realize that the window to win big with this core group was wasted by Scott Pioli.
2) Plan for the future and build my team to win not just in 2013 and 2014 but down the road.
3) Acquire a respectable stop-gap QB - Palmer, Campbell, etc - don't care. (I know many will jump at this point, but I don't place much premium on having the 20th best QB in the league vs. having the 22nd or 24th).
4) Closely evaluate QBs in this draft with the plan that the Chiefs will take their long-term QB either this season or next. If said QB is not present in 2013 draft, hoard picks and plan for 2014.
