BTW, not being a parent, I asked a co-worker what she would do in this situation. Basically said this, nearly word for word. She added "tell her what I think of her" to the first point.
She also brought up talking to the mother to make sure that there wasn't more to the story (i.e. the point that maybe there were some jello shots made without alcohol that they would playfully offer to the girls).
Also, she said that she would not go to the police or other parents. She would handle based solely on her own daughter. Had they been drinking Jack or something and trying to get the girls to drink it, then she said it would be a whole other story.
