tooge, I'm sure you're a good cat & fine dentist, but your parenting skills & adult comm skills need some refining. I'm a father of two girls, both adults now. I think you are trying too hard on many fronts. relax. actually, you should commend your kid for her POV and the way she handled it -- this is first, then move on to the adults. it's not that big a deal to me, provided the adults realize how you and yours roll and can respect that. it's important you talk with folks and sort of find fams that get on the same page with you and your fam. jmo
