You are completely missing the point.

Its not about being a fan of Alex Smith.

Its about giving a player who wasn't drafted, has a lot of work to do with mechanics, and learning a pro system and having the luxury to develop without having to rush him.

See the INT right there? Those are things he needs to work on. He under threw that badly.

Mechanics, footwork. PATIENCE.
