I took my two oldest boys tonight - The wife stayed home with the other kids
This game set me back quite a bit that wasn't budgeted for:
Ticket (actually was budgeted for) - $39 (Kids were free with the youth football)
Food/Drinks Total: $90
Parking: $27
Not counting Gas. And if I had to buy each of them a ticket through official channels it would have been a bit more
Its not great- we probably could have saved on the food if we tailgated before but we didn't have time tonight.
I took the chance to explain to the boys that we come to a game so we can remember the experience when we watch it on TV, and so that we are grateful at home that the bathroom is only a few feet away and not filled with strangers.
