They both had some of the same questions coming out about attitude, and apparently both did interviews terribly. Part of Mallets problem is he is so big, and such a statue. Bray is mobile.

you don't go un-drafted just because you're immature...absolute reeruned shitheads get drafted all the time, mostly notably at the WR and CB positions
no one would even burn a 7th to ensure they got him, why?
because he has a big arm and almost no discernible NFL talent that could be found on tape from mechanics (throws like a sidearm pitcher) to accuracy to decision making...plus he was a world class douche, and that's why you end up a udfa
i'm stoked we grabbed him, i'm glad he dominated 3rd stringers in the 4th preseason game (seriously, that's a good sign, you should look good among lessers), and I hope he doesn't play a snap this year
but I woke up to read in this thread that 'his upside is marino' and 'no one in next year's class has more talent' and realized we're going to have people claiming we don't need to draft a QB next year because of Bray the UDFA...and that is scary

If I didn't know who you were talking about, I could of swore you were talking about Brett Favres draft profile. Would it surprise you if they didn't? Alex Smith is under contract, Chase Daniel is under contract, and they let go of Stanzi on first cuts, and let Bray pretty much play the entire game. He got better in every game he played against. Against scrubs or not, Nick Foles played against scrubs last night for philly and looked like a steaming pile of dog shit.....

Should you take a 3rd for him if it were offered? I can see some fair points for either side you lean on.

We aren't talking about a guy who just fell and no one knew about. He was a guy that was projected as a 3rd round pick this year. A first round projected player in Barkley fell to the 4th round. It was a horrible year for qbs, and as it was posted a while ago a GM said that he was TERRIFIED of this class of qbs. It really was that bad. But the arm talent with Bray, is RARE, AND REAL.....I made the mistake of clowning Kaep because people raved about his arm, I wont make the same mistake.....

He has twice as much arm talent of any QB we have had since Croyle (and Croyle didn't have his touch).
But, it does show how horrific our QB's have been since a UDFA is outclassing them.

Croyle also panicked when pressure hit. Something that young qbs often do, but I didn't see Bray do that. He showed real composure. He showed it even in the first preseason game against the saints when he rolled left, and floated that ball to Kelce that should of been a TD, but stone hands dropped it.

I thought he had the best NFL arm in the draft class. Maturity was a question but talent wasn't.
Bray is a baby by NFL standards, he's 21 years old he can sit for two years ans still have a long career. Geno looks lost to me and that usually doesn't change.

T'eo is EXCELLING? From what? Being in his walking boot, to NOT being in his walking boot?
The guy played 9 snaps in the preseason, and in college against the only real defense he saw in Alabama he got destroyed. He couldn't get off linemen, he couldn't tackle eddie lacy, hes slow. They masked his deficiencies by putting him in zone and letting their D line abuse weaker olines, and once they faced a real oline, he got exposed and destroyed.
I do agree on your take on bray though.
