There are a lot of people out there who put together graded sets--a set with every card graded. They try for a 10 of every card. The stars aren't that hard to get with a 10. But the commons--they are extremely rare because people don't want to risk the grading fees to have Jamie Quirk graded. So, sometimes on ebay you'll see commons from the 80s, especially Fleer and Donruss which were hardly ever centered correctly, graded 9.5 or 10 and sell for $100s.
