This tells me that Pioli had no business in the job in the first place. All of these things, every single one of them, should have been completely understood before hand with a plan to manage them. I liked Haley frankly, and it is obvious to me that Pioli was always the problem here. I still doubt that even if he now understands these issues that he will be able to develop strategies to manage them. I think that gig is over for him, forever.
I must say that I think Hunt figured this out by dividing responsibilities. A coach would have to be crazy to want full control anymore. An owner giving it is crazier still.
