What if an NFL GM ran his franchise the same way an FFL GM runs his. Do the same principles apply? Let's say Ozzie Newsome is considered a succesful NFL GM, would he be banned from the FFL because he would just kick everyone's ass every year?

I'm just wondering if NFL owners need to start searching the FFL for GM talent in order to be successful in "today's" NFL.

Is there another way to score points in the FFL than touchdowns, PATs, FGs and safeties?
Fantasy players score points for everything including yardage, receptions, touchdowns, pass completions. Once again, any league can choose to make their scoring system different, so it varies. One league may choose not to give points for a reception, while another league may give you a full point for a reception. That would make a Welker type receiver who catches a ton of short or intermediate passes more valuable than someone who racks up a bunch more yards but with fewer catches.

As far as the GM thing goes, I think you may be thinking that FF is a lot more in depth than it actually is. It's basically just selecting the stars of the NFL in a draft and plugging them into a lineup. The average fantasy guy may be more knowledgeable than the average fan just due on having to know the depth chart for the skill positions of all the NFL teams, or by knowing which defenses are susceptible to the pass or run......but that by no means would qualify them to be an NFL GM.
