I love Jamaal Charles but at this point if we could get a Hershal Walker type deal for him I'd take it.

I watched #58 year after year chasing and sacking quarterbacks and loved the guy as a family member. Off the top of my head I think he had 7 or 8 different quarterbacks during that time. Will Shields went through the same issue, it's why Tony Gonzalez went to a team that just drafted a quarterback in Matt Ryan. He didn't go to a veteran QB team.

I've seen teams turn their shit around in a year or two so we don't have to wait. Granted with much better QB draft classes but it's the point of taking a chance and go with it.

I live in a fantasy world I know this much to be true or at least it's just wishful thinking to draft a quarterback. EJ Manuel would have been worth that 1.1 pick. I think he could have help this team out significantly even as a rookie make rookie mistakes but we would be better off.

I'm bitter not drafting a quarterback.

I am sad with this post, honestly. This is like saying that Barry Sanders never deserved to win a SB. JC is probably one of the most awesome RBs we will see in this league, ever. He is the way a pro-athlete needs to be, no talk, all action. That man deserves every shot you give him to win a SB. You don't just discard a player like him. ****.
