I understand Smith went early 2nd.. Chiefs coulda traded down, acquired more picks and then taken him..
Shoulda took this year to learn the new system, get the right players that'll fit this system, get Geno some experience, Manning 1 year old and closer to hanging them up...Woulda made the most sense..

1. They need a trade partner to trade. I think they would have traded down if they had any takers, but I don't know that they would have TAKEN Geno.
