Unfortunately the average fan doesn't realize that although the OL was terrible yesterday, they had a rookie LT starting, A LG playing Center because the starter is out. And a rookie LG starting. Combine that with a quarterback with zero pocket awareness, and you get an OL that looks really shitty.
