Dammit. Saw it coming.
If given the opportunity, I would have been trying desperately to trade up in front of the Pats.
Being #1 defensively with Shaun Phillips and hot garbage/career backups/upcoming FA's at the other 3 LB spots is pretty impressive, and while we would have liked to add Smith to the LB corp, we're happy to fill the position with our 1a choice.
