Agreed. If PMII can't exorcise the Home/Colts demon, then the bad mojo is far too powerful and must be destroyed. Operation Sweets will then go in to effect:
WARNING! Brilliant engineering skills ahead! Read only if your mind has the strength of a thousand horses and the imagination of Picasso!
Spoiler!
We will raze the old downtown airport, have the Natives come back to bless the site( along with a Priest, a Minister, a Preacher, and every other conceivable "holy figure" available to us, and will begin construction on a new, "quarter-dome"( field, sidelines, and first section at bottom remain open while seats at the mid and top sections are partially covered from any and all wind/rain/snow )structure.
We will recycle as much of the "new construction" from the existing Arrowhead as we can in order to help offset costs. Fans who have held season tickets for 10 years or more will be allowed to literally take their seats home with them when they are removed from the existing structure. All other seats will be auctioned off for charity along with any other items that may not be part of the new structure, but which could hold sentimental value to the fans.
If necessary, we will divert the Missouri river much in the same way the "riverboat" casinos did in order to make sure that we have ample space for the structure and parking. We will build a new ingress/egress system that bypasses all need to go through downtown in order to get on to a bridge to reach your respective highway upon leaving, and to get to the stadium before game time.
Said system will run east/west, either over parts of the river itself or at the shoreline, and will culminate with join points at I-35 south past the downtown loop, and I-35 north prior to reaching the NKC shoreline. 35 north at NKC will have to be expanded to match lane for lane, the "uphill climb" that occurs between roughly Armour Rd. and Parvin Rd.
Lastly, thanks to our bold thinking and vision, we will enjoy a new, state-of the-art stadium where fans and visitors can look up from the 50 and see the Kansas City skyline to the south end zone, and the flowing river to the north end zone. I don't need to tell you that overhead shots of the stadium and surrounding area will be some of the best in the NFL.
