That’s the part that’s tough...for me.

Any other team would have used the NFI list for Berry while he fought cancer so they would have the cap space. KC surrendered 5 m in cap space because they treated Eric like family.

They are paying Eric full salary the last 2 seasons when This is a “deformity”...not something caused by an injury playing for KC. (At least from what I’ve read) and KC is again paying full salary for him because he’s bing treated like family.

Any other team treats this like a business and puts Eric on the NFI list and uses that cap space to addd a safety.
