Just because we have a lot of irons in the fire doesn’t mean you can drop this. They were right to step in on steroids. They are right to step in when the nfl and goodell refuses to do their job. It’s not like he broke a few rules. It was epically bad, then they tried to cover it up, then they leaked emails out of revenge, all while continuing to commit fraud after they got caught. That’s not even getting into the worst of it including withholding millions in customer refunds, defrauding other teams of revenue sharing, on top of the worst of the sexual harassment allegations which includes pimping out his cheerleaders.
So what’s the solution, let him keep getting away with it because the economy is bad? I don’t trust congress with this so for that reason, I think it’s useless. But that doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be a priority.
