He' sat out for the entire year minus a couple handful of snaps in wk 15 and 16, so he could essentially save himself for a playoff run.
Now he's sat out the playoffs because he can't go...I mean if you're going to miss playoff games, then he has zero to offer this team and he should be placed on IR and then released post June 1.
I think he knows his playing days are over and purposely milked the Chiefs 1 more yr in salary pay, with Clark's blessing.
