It is one of the things that Gun actually understood when he took over as HC the first thing he did was fire the ex-LB that was coaching the QB's, I remember him saying that it was stupid to not have a person who has played the position try to teach it to someone else. Probably a strong reason why every QB under Marty just seemed to get worse every year instead of improving.
