I'm a Crown fan (not the flavored stuff), my boyfriend likes Knob Creek, and we both like Maker's Mark. I realize those are all "mid-grade" whiskeys, though. You feel free to spend as much as you like on a bottle, and we'll see if we like it.

Also, I like Four Roses. It's great for an inexpensive whiskey, and I like the bottle (I'm such a girl).
