The Chiefs right now have Eric Murray, Jordan Lucas, and Daniel Sorensen, (who is playing LB/S), as players actively playing safety. I don't think we have a CB that could really transition.

Cutting Ron Parker says Eric Berry plays.

You have to think the org is confident Berry plays. I was pretty surprised to hear they cut Ron Parker. Perhaps they can reactivate him if Berry isn't good to go but having only 3 safeties isn't much of a safety net (no pun intended).
