If Nagy wants to call plays he's not coming back to sit at the OC kids table under Reid. Maybe some elevated offensive consulting title like Childress had as a possible platform to help him return somewhere as a HC candidate but can't see him as OC here.
I think Nagy is a good guy, a players guy, and a good coordinator, but a large part of his problems here was his extreme stubborness. There were several personnel and team decisions outside of Pace that were his call. After they were both extended it was said Nagy was going to have a bigger say, along with Pace, in personnel decisions and the Bears were the same mess.
That said, I trust Reid and Veach to make the whatever decision they feel are best for the org.
