Mahomes wanted to throw this ball to Gray at the back of the EZ...he waited until the very last minute and then bailed out. And then made everyone look a fool. I still have no idea how he wasn't destroyed.

Love this because Mahomes had protection and then bailed out just at the right time. These kinds of plays are going to be huge this year because the OL is going to make it even harder on defenses to cover Tyreek for 6-7 seconds. Just lethal combo we have going on right now.

Holy **** this read. He read #4 all the way and as soon as he saw him bail he released, knowing how fast he had to get the ball out to CEH, and also reacted instantly to the free rusher by getting enough air under the ball. A LOT of QBs get this pass batted down or don't let the RB catch it in stride to get the first. Very underrated play. Also please keep blitzing Patrick
