Gruden is a solid coach and Mayock knows talent. Believing otherwise is a fool’s game. Right now the Raiders are saddled with a very average quarterback, and a defense that doesn’t have a pass rush. Most of the season they played without their actual starting cornerbacks or safeties, but that won’t be the case next season.
They have a solid offense of line, a pretty good running game when Jacobs is healthy, and the core of a decent receiving unit. I said it before, the Raiders will be a decent team in a year or two.
