Since, you know, he's a heel announcer. The back and forth between Cole and Jerry about that during the match was hilarious.

Okay, Elimination Changer. The way I would do it is have Jericho win EC. It has to be jericho or punk, no question. miz? r-truth? kofi? dolph? all mid-carders, the guys that will be in the MitB match. None of them are going to carry a title into mania. So the chamber match really comes down to punk and jericho with a bunch of other guys doing spots around them. Jericho wins in some heel-y way, punk chases the title all the way to mania, the two fighting over who the 'best in the world' really is, Jericho playing it from the angle that punk's stolen his entire gimmick, and punk the clear face. Punk gets the belt back at mania, crowd blows the roof off the building.

The other title match, I would guess, probably isn't going to involve Danielson at all. I expect he'll lose the title at EC, probably to Mark Henry, if the guy can even walk by then. Danielson, unfortunately fades into obscurity at this point because Vince sees him how he sees him. That leaves Sheamus and Henry at mania. That's not what I would do, but that's a Vince kind of match, and give Sheamus his giant killing moment. Cause vince loves that kind of shit, Hogan and Andre, and (much) more recently, when Cena used to herc Big Slow up into the FU.

Hope I'm wrong about that, and they somehow keep Danielson a part of it. In fact, with Henry so injured, maybe they can make it a 3-way so he and Sheamus can carry Henry through the match.

Taker coming out at the end, I knew it was going to happen, but you can tell who's in charge, and you can tell who the company really thinks is important. Punk/Danielson/Jericho, as great as they are, are at 9 o'clock. Cena (and Rock) are close to the end of the show, and then, of course, Hun-Tor has to take the spotlight. Honestly, I wouldn't care if neither Taker or HHH were on Mania. Taker's "streak" is played-out, for me at least, and I wouldn't care if we never saw Stephanie's husband again.

And I can't believe I'm about to mention a diva match, but Kharma and Beth Pheonix could be awesome. Kong was great with Gail Kim, and Beth's a much better worker than Gail ever was, bless her heart. Those two could really do something we haven't seen for years in the Diva division. If WWE lets them. Watch Kelly Kelly get thrown into the middle of it, or something equally reeruned.
Agreed on pretty much everything. I'm not surprised that Taker-HHH ended the show, they're returning and fans tend to mark out much more for returns than for amazing wrestling matches.

I'd love to see a Beth/Kharma/Natty Triple Threat at Mania, but Natty seems to be jobbed out every week nowadays. Pisses me off.

I'm curious to see where D-Bry lands, because I don't think he'll be the champ and probably not in the title picture (although he needs to be). I have a hard time coming up with any faces that I really want to see him wrestle, but I guess we'll see.

I have zero interest in Taker, HHH, Sheamus or Orton. Just sayin...

This is only made clearer by how hilariously weak both chambers are this year, though at least the Raw one has guys I mostly like.
I enjoyed the first Chamber match way back in 2002 when HBK won the belt. It was a good mach, innovative at the time and had a pretty cool story. But yeah, having an entire PPV devoted to it just dilutes the title picture and does nothing for about 4 of the 6 guys in the match. Same with the Hell in a Cell & Money in the Bank PPVs. Overkill.
