I'm really shocked at people's gullibility in this case.
Manti Te'o is a liar.
The girl was a fabrication. Notre Dame knew about this fabrication at least since December, yet willingly played along, as to not disrupt the team's focus on the BCS Championship game.
Read the Deadspin articles. There is no question that he and Tuiasosopo perpetrated this hoax.
The question left to ask is "Why?".
