In honor of Veterans Day I've been watching documentaries this week on different eras of conflict.

Watched a documentary on Somalia earlier and watching Vietnam in HD right now.

Tomorrow I plan to watch "The Outpost" a movie about Combat Out Post (COP) Keating In Afghanistan that was almost overran in 2009, the ensuing battle resulted in 2 Medals Of Honor awarded, a Distinguished Service Cross and dozens of other medals for valor. 8 Americans were killed dozens wounded and an estimated 300 Taliban killed. (Also called the battle of Kamdesh) You can rent this on Netflix, Amazon Prime and most streaming services.

We have a ton of veterans here Mac, Cheater 5, Warrior, Randal, GloryDayze, Frazod, hell no way I can remember them all so I wont attempt to name them and didn't omit anyone purposefully.

Anyway Happy Veterans Day for all of you who raised your right hand. The older I get the more reflective I get on this day and think about the brothers I have and the ones I've lost.

Thanks so much! We all appreciate it. If I might, since you are currently watching the "history" of Viet Nam, that you check out a film called "Hamburger Hill". It is a very good drama about the hell that we went through as members of the 101st Screaming Eagles in the A Shau Valley in May '69. It is about as "true" a depiction as I have seen. 95% of it is exactly as it was.

Again, thanks so much!
