Since it is the weekend of the CWS, hotels are expensive af. I've got one booked downtown within walking distance of the Holland Center, but would it be worth moving to one near I-680 and 6 Hwy and use Uber to get into the city? Is there anything out there, or is it just generic suburbia?
I-680 and hwy 6(known as most in town as Dodge St) has plenty to do out there. There is some great dining out there but if you want to be in the action then downtown is the place to be but it will be crazy as **** down there during the CWS. If you like to party, that is the place to be. And there is some great dining down there as well.

If you have the money and you are out on I680 you could try Flemings. Expensive as **** but delicious. Two people would probably spend no less than $150 for a nice dinner if I recall correctly(just looked it up and most of their steaks are over $45). You wouldn't be too far from Brother Sebastian's either. Another great place but expensive. "Filet Sebastian | 12 oz. | center-cut tenderloin charbroiled and served with sauteed mushrooms and Hollandaise sauce | $41.95" I am getting hard just thinking about it. That steak is the most delicious piece of meat I think I have ever had.
