KU is locked into a 12-year-deal for $86 million with IMG, which beaks out to about $7.2 million a year. I realize dropping the big total altogether makes it sound better (Kevin Kietzmann's specialty). It's a tremendous third-tier rights package - right now. By the end of the contract, a decade from now, it won't be as tremendous

Missouri's deal brings in a shade over $4 million currently, though I expect it will be set up a little differently moving forward.

The big payout is the eventual creation of the SEC network, which will lock up third-tier rights as well and significantly increase Mizzou's number for that margin.
