Don't know much about jimmy Graham?
Watch film of the Saints when he was there. Sean Payton did line him up inside. Graham missed a lot of blocks. Lotta "whoops, I missed," blocks.
Then Pete Carroll tried to make him block. A lot. Graham's production tanked compared to anything he did in NO. Again, he lasted only, what, two years as a Seahawk?
Last year with the Packers basically the same thing.
Essentially, IMO, he's an over-sized WR and not a TE at all. Unfortunately, he's not fast enough to get separation from a true CB; his effectiveness is against LBs and safeties. Maybe he's really an over-sized slot receiver.
Whatever. Point being, he wants all the perks of being a superstar TE, but doesn't want to do any of the dirty work of the position. You only have to watch any game film of him since he became a Saint.
But you're right; his attitude about blocking is probably why he's been bouncing from team to team since leaving the Saints.
