After reading this, I have a new found respect for Alex Smith, who was pretty much the diametric opposite of Brett Favre when Rodgers was signed by Green Bay.

I suspect the seeds of Rodgers being a piece of shit were planted by Favre being absolutely awful to him, like an abused child who himself later grows up to be an abuser.
