Maryland is fine academically, but they're not the type of public ivy that Michigan is. Virginia would have been a far, far better fit in that regard.

With Rutgers, NY doesn't give a mother**** about this school in terms of athletics. But the Big 10 should congratulate itself on cornering the Jersey Shore market.

In short, this reminds me of the PAC adding Utah.
